Design Sponsorship for These Abled People’s festive greeting cards

As part of A.S. Louken's corporate social responsibility efforts, in 2009 we helped Bizlink Centre promote its 'These Abled People' Christmas and Chinese New Year greeting cards by designing its brochure and e-mailer. Bizlink Centre is a charity that provides services for the employment of people with disabilities. Its mission is to reach out to people with disabilities in Singapore to assist them in achieving independence, dignity and integration into the mainstream of society through employment.

Under an initiative by Bizlink Centre called 'These Abled People', individuals with disabilities are able to design Season's Greetings cards to be sold to the public. By buying a greeting card from Bizlink, we can all create jobs for the disabled.

Clothes Donation Drive
December 2008

A. S. Louken participated in Fairfield Methodist Church's Christmas gift-giving activity. According to their wishes, we collected several bags of male clothings to be distributed to construction workers.

Supporting the Tree of Life Campaign
December 2008

In the spirit of Christmas, A. S. Louken took part in World Vision's Tree of Life 2008 Campaign by setting up a very special Christmas tree in our office that is not decorated with the usual balls and baubles but with something much more precious – photo cards of needy children from across Asia and Africa. By sponsoring a needy child, we hope to ensure that he or she gets access to clean water, nutritious food, healthcare and education through World Vision.

Feed 100 Families This Christmas

Even in the face of an economic recession, the poor is not forgotten. In the spirit of Christmas, A. S. Louken was involved in a CSR project to feed families and children in Laos and Lesotho through World Vision. More than 100 families and children benefited from this project.
