A popular brand in the local Japanese casual dining scene, Ministry of Food (MOF) had great potential in expanding beyond Singapore. A. S. Louken developed a penetration strategy for MOF to move into the desired countries after identifying key aspects of its business model, and building a financial model beneficial for both franchisor and franchisee. A holistic franchise framework was drawn up from legal agreements to marketing collaterals. MOF is now ready to expand consistently and have since opened its first franchise unit in Jakarta, Indonesia.
