It was a challenging yet exciting task to complete a strategic branding project for Ewins which had a diverse umbrella of brands. Incorporated in 1967, Ewins is one of the major providers of furniture fittings and builders’ hardware. A.S. Louken refreshed the image of Ewins to reinforce its positioning as a leader in the hardware industry, developed a comprehensive brand architecture, created “Greencube” and “Veromobi”, and also designed its showroom. Greencube represents eco-friendliness, yet practical and adaptable range of products, while Veromobi’s lifestyle furnishing components are dedicated to add a touch of artistic flair to living and working spaces. The newly created brand identities now took on distinct flavours and have been well-received by stakeholders locally and overseas, while channelling brand equity back to its parent brand. A.S. Louken designed the panels for Veromobi’s booth at international exhibitions and trade shows in Australia, France, Germany and Italy. Its vibrant visuals increased the brand exposure worldwide and the brand has since been distributed to Taiwan and Korea.
Outlook
A seemingly functional industry dealing with hardware can appeal in much emotional value, as demonstrated by Ewin’s transformations. Accompanied by the success of its new brands Greencube and Veromobi, Ewins is now ready to expand further with a firm foundation. Thus far, brand visuals and collaterals used in overseas exhibitions and distribution have been well-received.
